Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on Rangers’ trip to Fir Park and I reckon both sides will get on the scoresheet.

Rangers will look to keep pace with league leaders Celtic as they head to North Lanarkshire to take on Motherwell at Fir Park.
After beginning the season by winning three of their opening four league matches this season, Motherwell come into this fixture having won just one of their next six encounters. That win was an emphatic 0-5 victory at Dingwall against Ross County, but Steven Hammell’s side failed to build on that result as they lost 1-0 at Hibs last time out. The Steelmen have found the back of the net in 7/10 of their league matches this season, scoring on 13 occasions.
Rangers have bounced back from their Old Firm thrashing by winning each of their next three Scottish Premiership matches – winning 4-0 in each of their last two. Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side have found the back of the net in 43 of their previous 45 league matches – only failing to score at Celtic Park twice. Since the start of last season, Rangers have only managed to keep six clean sheets on their travels, conceding in the other 17.
Bet of the Day
Rangers were utterly embarrassed in Europe once again in midweek as despite taking the lead and going into half time drawing 1-1, they would go on to lose 1-7 against Liverpool. Giovanni van Bronckhorst is a man under serious pressure and knows his side will need to collect all three points if they are to keep pace with bitter-rivals Celtic but they travel to Fir Park without defensive mainstay Connor Goldson.
The Gers have conceded in 17 of their last 23 Scottish Premiership matches on their travels and I can see them having more defensive issues in North Lanarkshire. However, only Celtic (twice) have stopped Rangers from scoring in their last 45 league outings and they should be able to at least net here. Both sides have scored in each of the last seven meetings between the pair – including in all four matches last season – and I reckon there’s a good chance we’ll see both score in North Lanarkshire on Sunday lunchtime.
