Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me stay in the Scottish Premiership yet again, and I’ve come up with a bet builder to get the visitors onside.

Rangers will look to go back to within six points of bitter-rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership as they travel to Dingwall to take on 10th-placed Ross County tomorrow night.
Ross County returned from the World Cup break by suffering a 1-2 defeat at home to St Johnstone last Saturday. That’s already five defeats at home for Malky Mackay’s men in the Scottish Premiership, with only Motherwell (4) collecting fewer than the eight points they have collected at home in the league this season. The Staggies have registered just a solitary clean sheet in front of their supporters this season, conceding 18 goals across their nine league matches as hosts – the worst in the division.
Michael Beale has made a perfect – and indeed an entertaining – start as Rangers manager, as he has recorded back-to-back 3-2 wins over both Hibs and Aberdeen. Rangers were heading for defeat at Pittodrie on Tuesday night – in a match that brought up Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day – but goals in the 95th and 97th minute from Scott Arfield sealed a dramatic victory for The Gers. Only league leaders Celtic (53) have found the back of the net more often in the Scottish Premiership than Rangers (40) this season.

Michael Beale has begun his reign as Rangers manager with wins over Hibs and Aberdeen and knows his side must collect another maximum to keep pace with leaders Celtic, and I fully expect them to against a struggling Ross County side. Rangers have only failed to score at Celtic Park in the league this season – notching two or more strikes in 12 of their other 16 league matches – and they should bag another double away at the side with the worst defensive record at home in the Scottish Premiership this season.
To complete the bet builder, I’m happy to add in Malky Mackay’s hosts to collect at least two cards. Ross County have been shown multiple cards in 13/17 (76%) of their league encounters this season, whilst the current Scottish Cup holders have drawn two or more cards from 16/17 (94%) of their Scottish Premiership opponents this season.
