Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the entertaining Swiss Super League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

It’s derby day in Lausanne tomorrow afternoon as Lausanne-Sport play host to Stade Lausanne Ouchy in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Ludovic Magnin’s hosts have scored 23 goals across their opening 14 matches in the Swiss Super League, with 13 (57%) of them coming at home. Les bleu et blanc have found the back of the net in all bar one of their league outings this term – scoring on multiple occasions in each of their previous five – and will be confident of continuing their fine goal-scoring run of form against a Stade Lausanne Ouchy defence that’s registered a solitary clean sheet in the league this season, with only Winterthur (33) conceding more than their tally of 30.
Stade Lausanne Ouchy have scored 16 goals across their opening 13 Swiss Super League matches, with eight (50%) of them coming on their travels. The newly-promoted side have made the net bulge in 10/13 (77%) of their league encounters – striking on multiple occasions in four of their previous six – and will look to trouble a Lausanne-Sport defence that’s registered just two clean sheets in the league this season, conceding 23 goals.

Stade Lausanne Ouchy’s opening 13 Swiss Super League fixtures this season are averaging 3.54 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in 10/13 (77%) of them, with Over 3.5 Goals also landing in four of their last five. Meanwhile, there have been a minimum of three strikes in a league-best 12/14 (86%) of Lausanne-Sport’s league contests, with four of their previous five also featuring a minimum of four goals, including a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture just last month.
Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 2.75 Asian goal. This would mean if there are exactly three goals scored, we will receive a half-stakes winner, whilst four or more strikes will reward a full payout.
