After recording back-to-back winners in South Korea and Iceland, Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Chinese Super League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Shanghai Port will look to extend their six-point lead at the top of the Chinese Super League table on Friday afternoon as they welcome 10th-placed Cangzhou Mightly Lions to the Pudong Football Stadium, and despite the hosts being short-priced favourites, goals at both ends appeal to me.
Javier Pereira’s hosts are the leading scorers in the Chinese Super League, scoring 32 goals across their opening 17 matches, with 15 (47%) of them coming on home soil. The Red Eagles have made the net bulge in 15/17 (88%) of their league outings this term – scoring two or more in 11 (65%) of them – and it would be a major surprise if they failed to breach a Cangzhou defence who’s only clean sheet in the league this season has come against bottom side Shenzhen.
Zhao Junzhe’s visitors have scored 21 goals across their opening 17 Chinese Super League fixtures this term, with 10 (48%) of them coming across their seven road trips. The Mighty Lions have found the back of the net in 14/17 (82%) of their league contests – including in all seven on their travels – and they will look to trouble a Shanghai Port defence that is still yet to record a single clean sheet across their opening eight Chinese Super League fixtures on home soil, with five of those coming against the bottom six sides in the table.

Both Teams to Score has banked in a joint-league best 13/17 (76%) of Cangzhou Mighty Lions’ Chinese Super League fixtures this season – and given both have obliged in 7/8 (88%) of Shanghai Port’s league assignments on home turf – I’m happy to take a chance on both of these sides get on the scoresheet.
