Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the early kickoff in the Premier League, and I like the look of both these form attacks getting on the scoresheet.

Two of the Premier League’s form sides meet in the lunchtime kickoff at Villa Park tomorrow as sixth-placed Aston Villa host third-placed Newcastle.
Aston Villa head into this fixture in scintillating form, winning six and drawing one of their previous seven Premier League matches to climb them up into sixth position, six points behind Spurs in fifth. That run includes three successive victories at home for The Villans, including a 2-0 success over relegation-haunted Nottingham Forest last weekend. Unai Emery’s hosts have found the back of the net in each of their previous 17 Premier League fixtures, scoring two or more in 11 (65%) of those.
Newcastle recorded their fifth consecutive league victory – and third away from home – last weekend, as they came from a goal down to defeat Brentford 1-2. Eddie Howe’s men have performed well on their travels this term, collecting 27 points from a possible 45 (W7-D6-L2), with both defeats coming against Manchester City and Liverpool. The Magpies are the fourth-highest scorers away from home in the Premier League this season, scoring 25 goals – with nine of those coming across their last three.

These two clubs come into this fixture in terrific form, which is mainly due to their impressive attacking play. Villa have struck in each of their previous 17 Premier League encounters, whilst The Toon Army have scored 13 goals across their last five league outings.
Both Teams to Score has banked in 7/9 of Aston Villa’s Premier League meetings with teams currently inside the top-eight – and given the same has landed in four of Newcastle’s previous five away – I’m happy to have a punt on these two in-form attacks to get on the scoresheet in what should be an entertaining encounter.
