Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me focus on the German Bundesliga and there’s one side that sticks out to me and look good value to collect all three points.
Hoffenheim vs Gladbach

Two sides heading in completely different directions meet at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena as Hoffenheim host Gladbach. The hosts come into this in 4th and are only one point behind Leverkusen in 3rd. Gladbach meanwhile, are in 13th position and are only one point above the relegation playoff spot.
Hoffenheim impressively came from two down to draw 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena. That draw extended Hoffenheim’s unbeaten run to five in the Bundesliga, having previously each of their last four prior to that draw with Leverkusen. The Rhein-Neckar-Arena has been a fortress for Sebastian Hoeneß’s side in the last few months, with them winning each of their last five there, scoring 15 goals, as well as scoring at least twice on each occasion. Only the top three in the Bundesliga have scored more goals than Hoffenheim, with Hoffenheim scoring on multiple occasions 11 times this season, including in all nine of their victories.
Despite taking an early lead and levelling the match at 2-2, Gladbach went on to lose 2-3 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. That’s now four defeats on the bounce for Adi Hütter’s men, with them conceding a whopping 17 goals, losing each of their last two away from home 4-1. Gladbach have been poor all season away from home, winning only one of their eight away matches, losing six. It comes as no surprise that Gladbach have one of the worst defensive records in the Bundesliga, with only bottom side Greuther Fürth and Hertha Berlin conceding more.
Bet of the Day
Hoffenheim come into this in fine form with Sebastian Hoeneß’s side unbeaten in their last five, winning four and scoring 15 goals. Hoffenheim have also been in scintillating on home turf, winning each of their last five there, scoring at least twice in all five. That spells trouble for a Gladbach side that have lost each of their four in the Bundesliga, conceding 17 goals. Gladbach don’t tend to travel well either, losing 6/8 away from home this season and I’m expecting to lose once more against an in form Hoffenheim side.
