Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the MLS, and one fixture in particular appeals to me for goals and cards.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Eastern Conference table meet at the DRV PNK Stadium in the early hours of Wednesday morning as Inter Miami plays host to the Columbus Crew, and I’ve come up with a bet builder featuring goals and cards.
Inter Miami have scored 18 goals across their opening 19 MLS fixtures, with 13 (72%) of those coming on home soil. The Herons have found the back of the net in 8/10 (80%) of their league outings in front of their supporters – scoring two or more in five (50%) of them – and will look to breach a Crew defence that has registered a solitary shutout and conceded 16 goals across their opening nine road trips.
Wilfried Nancy’s visitors are the leading scorers in the entire MLS, scoring 40 goals across their opening 20 matches, with 11 (28%) of them coming on the road. The Crew have found the back of the net in all bar one of their MLS fixtures this term – scoring two or more in 12 (60%) of them – and will aim to breach a Miami defence that’s registered a league-low two clean sheets in MLS this campaign, with none of those coming across their previous 17 assignments.

Both Teams to Score has banked in 14/20 (70%) of the Crew’s MLS fixtures this term, including in 7/9 (78%) away from home – and given both have obliged in nine of Inter Miami’s last 11 league contests, including in six of their previous eight at home – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides to find the target.
To nudge up the price, I’m happy to throw in both sides to collect a card. Both teams have been shown a card in 16 of The Herons’ previous 18 MLS encounters, whilst the same has landed in 19/20 (95%) of The Crew’s MLS fixtures.
