Monday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me once more tackle the Nations League and there’s one I’m backing one side who should prove to be far too strong for their opponents.

Two sides whose fate in Group C4 has already been sealed meet at Victoria Stadium on Monday evening, as group winners Georgia travel to relegated Gibraltar.
Gibraltar’s place at the foot of the table was sealed on Thursday evening, as they were thrashed 5-1 away at previously winless Bulgaria. Julio César Ribas’ side have only collected one point in the group – with that coming in the home fixture with Bulgaria – losing both meetings with North Macedonia and the reverse fixture with Georgia 4-0. Los Lianis have managed to score just twice throughout their Nations League campaign, with them both coming in their two meetings with Bulgaria. Gibraltar have conceded 16 goals in their five group matches, conceding on multiple occasions in four of them.
Georgia sealed promotion to League B on Thursday evening, as they defeated second-placed North Macedonia 2-0 in Tbilisi. Willy Sagnol’s side have now won four of their five Nations League fixtures, only dropping points in a 0-0 draw at home to Bulgaria in a match they completely dominated. The Crusaders have found the back of the net 14 times in their five group outings, scoring on multiple occasions in four of those. Georgia have a perfect defensive record so far this campaign, with them yet to concede a single goal.
Bet of the Day
Georgia travel to Gibraltar with both sides already knowing their final positions in Group C4. The visitors thrashed their opponents 4-0 in the reverse fixture at the start of June, therefore I’m expecting the Georgians to cruise to another comfortable victory against their lowly opponents.
Georgia have scored 14 goals across their five Nations League fixtures and they should manage to score at least twice against a Gibraltar defence that’s already let 16 goals in themselves. Willy Sagnol’s visitors are yet to concede this campaign and I don’t see a Gibraltar attack that’s scored just twice in five matches troubling them. Georgia should win comfortably here and I’m backing them at -2 on the Asian Handicap. That means if the visitors win by two clear goals, we get half of our stake back, and if they win by three or more goals, we get a full payout.
