Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Champions League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Copenhagen and Galatasaray go head-to-head at the Parken Stadium tomorrow evening in what should be a highly entertaining and competitive fixture.
With runaway group winners Bayern having already sealed top spot, a 0-0 draw in Munich means that Copenhagen head into the final match in Group A in 2nd place. Whilst that’s now two without a defeat in the Champions League, things have been far from ideal domestically, as Jacob Neestrup’s side have taken just one point from their previous three Danish Superliga matches, losing each of their last two, to leave them in 3rd position, meaning they head into the winter break three points behind leaders Midtjylland.
Meanwhile, Okan Buruk’s visitors are behind their Danish opponents only on goal difference, but their 3-3 draw at home to Manchester United last time out means they remain a point above the Red Devils and know a win at the Parken Stadium tomorrow evening will ensure qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Galatasaray are also involved in an exciting title race in the Turkish Süper Lig, with Gala winning 13 of their previous 14 league outings, meaning they sit behind rivals Fenerbahçe only on goal difference.

Galatasaray’s previous five matches in Group A have produced 22 goals (4.40 goals per game), with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals banking in each of them, including a 2-2 in the reverse fixture in Istanbul – and given the same has landed in 3/5 (60%) of Copenhagen’s Group A contests, including in both at home – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be three or more goals, with both sides contributing in what promises to be a dramatic evening in the Danish capital.
Given what’s at stake for both sides, to nudge the price up, I’m more than happy to throw in both teams to be shown a card. Both Teams have received a card in all 11 (100%) of Gala’s matches in Europe this term, whilst the same has landed in 9/11 (82%) of Copenhagen’s continental clashes, with the pair sharing seven (2-5) in the reverse fixture.
