Off the back of successive winners at the Gtech and the AMEX, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me stay in the English Premier League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals and cards.

Mauricio Pochettino’s visitors have scored 31 goals across their opening 19 Premier League fixtures, with 14 (45%) of them coming on their travels. After failing to score in half of their opening six league outings, The Blues have made the net bulge in 11 of their last 13 – scoring on multiple occasions in eight (62%) of them – and will look to continue their recent improvement in front of goal against a Luton defence that has registered s solitary clean sheet in the Premier League this season, conceding 34 goals.

Chelsea’s opening nine Premier League fixtures on the road are averaging 3.22 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in six (67%) of them – and given the same has landed in 13/18 (72%) of Luton’s Premier League contests, including in 7/9 (78%) of them as hosts – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target in the lunchtime kickoff.
