Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Champions League and there’s one side in particular who I’m keen to get on side.

Two teams looking to keep pace with current group leaders Bayern Munich meet at San Siro on Tuesday evening, as Barcelona travel to Milan to take on Inter.
After opening up with a 0-2 defeat at home to Bayern Munich, Inter claimed their first points in Group C with a 0-2 victory of their own away at Czech champions Viktoria Plzeň. However, despite taking a first-half lead, Simone Inzaghi’s side come into this match having lost 1-2 at home to Roma at the weekend. That defeat means the Nerazzurri have lost four of their opening eight Serie A fixtures – including three of their last four – to leave them lying in ninth position in the table, already eight points behind league leaders Napoli.
Barcelona kicked off their Champions League campaign with a routine 5-1 at home to Viktoria Plzeň, but the Catalonians failed to build on that win, as they lost 2-0 in Munich to Bayern. Xavi’s men come into this off the back of a hard-fought 0-1 at Mallorca, thanks to a Robert Lewandowski strike in the first half. That victory now means Barça have won each of their last six matches in La Liga, with that win on Saturday evening seeing them leapfrog rivals Real Madrid to the top of the table on goal difference.
Bet of the Day
Both Inter and Barça come into this fixture sitting on three points in Group C, with the pair defeating Czech champions Viktoria Plzeň and losing to group leaders Bayern Munich. However, both teams come into this match in contrasting form, therefore I’m keen to get the visitors on side here.
Xavi saw his side go top of the La Liga table following their 0-1 victory at Mallorca, which was their sixth successive victory domestically. Despite losing in Munich, Barça were the better side for the majority of the match, and I expect them to be too strong for an Inter side that’s lost three of their last four Serie A fixtures and who were well beaten against Bayern on Matchday 1 in front of their own supporters.
