Two of the most entertaining sides in the Bundesliga meet at the WWK Arena as 10th-placed Augsburg entertain 6th-placed Hoffenheim in what promises to be a high-scoring affair.
Jess Thorup’s new side has scored 19 goals across their opening 10 Bundesliga matches, with 12 (63%) of them coming in front of their supporters. The Fuggerstädter have found the back of the net in 8/10 (80%) of their Bundesliga contests this term – scoring on multiple occasions in 4/5 (80%) of them on home soil – and they will be confident of troubling a Hoffenheim defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the Bundesliga this season, shipping multiple goals in seven (70%) of them.
Pellegrino Matarazzo’s visitors are the fifth-highest scorers in the Bundesliga, banging in 22 goals across their opening 10 matches, with only Bayern (15) scoring more than their tally of 14 away from home. Along with the top two, The Sinsheim-based club have found the back of the net in each of their opening 10 Bundesliga fixtures this term – scoring two or more in seven (70%) of them – and they will be confident of continuing their goal-scoring run against an Augsburg defence still yet to register a clean sheet in the Bundesliga this term, conceding on 22 occasions.

Both Augsburg’s and Hoffenheim’s opening 10 Bundesliga fixtures this season are averaging 4.10 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals banking in 9/10 (90%) of Hoffenheim’s Bundesliga fixtures – and given the same has landed in 7/10 (70%) of Augsburg’s Bundesliga contests – I’m more than happy to have a punt on there to be at least three goals, with both teams contributing in Augsburg tomorrow afternoon.
