Two sides in contrasting form meet at the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos, as Gil Vicente host Estoril. The hosts are in 5th, just four points behind 4th-placed Braga, whilst the visitors are 7th, 10 points clear of the relegation-playoff spot.

Estoril have now lost six of their last nine in the league, scoring just six goals and conceding 15 in that run. After winning four and drawing two of their opening six matches away from home, the Canaries have now W1-D1-L4 of their last six away, conceding nine goals and scoring just twice. Estoril have failed to win any of their eight matches against the sides above them in the table this season, with them losing five and drawing three of them.
Bet of the Day
Along with league leaders Porto, Gil Vicente are the form side in Portugal and will fancy their chances against their out-of-form visitors. Gil Vicente have lost just one of their last 15 in the league, as well as W6-D3-L0 of their last nine and come into this off the back of a 1-1 draw away to Porto, despite playing virtually the whole match with 10-men. On the other hand, Estoril have won just two of their last 15 in the league (both wins coming against the bottom-two sides), as well as losing six of their last nine. Given the contrast in both sides form coming into this, I’m backing the home side to collect all three points in Barcelos, at what is an attractive looking price.
