Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me delve into the Finnish Veikkausliiga and there’s match that I like the look of for goals at both ends.

KuPS will look to maintain their position at the top of the Veikkausliiga table, as they travel to the Raatti Stadium to take on Oulo. The visitors are above champions HJK on goal difference, despite playing a game fewer, while the hosts are in sixth-spot, just a point behind fourth-placed Inter Turku.
Oulo collected their second win of the season last time out, as they defeated third-placed Honka 2-1 at home. Ricardo Duarte’s side remain unbeaten at home so far this season, winning two and drawing two of their opening four matches on home turf. Oulo have found the back of the net in all of their opening seven Veikkausliiga fixtures this season, with eight of the 12 goals they’ve scored so far coming at home. Oulo have recorded just the one clean sheet so far this season and have conceded a total of 10 goals from their opening seven fixtures.
KuPS bounced back from their 1-1 draw away to Mariehamn, by winning 2-1 at home to mid-table Haka. That draw at Mariehamn is the only match KuPS have dropped points in this season, with Keltamusta winning six of their opening seven Veikkausliiga matches. Simo Valakari’s side have found the back of the net in all seven of their league fixtures this season, finding the back of the net on 13 occasions. Despite sitting top of the table, KuPS have recorded just two clean sheets so far this season, with both of them coming against the joint second-lowest scorers in the league, 11th-placed SJK and eighth-placed Lahti.
Bet of the Day
KuPS have made a near-perfect start to the season, picking up 19 points from a possible 21 , but face a tough test away to sixth-placed Oulo. Ricardo Duarte’s hosts have won two and drawn two on their four home fixtures, scoring eight goals and given they’ve found the back of the net in all seven of their league fixtures so far, there’s a good chance they’ll score against the league leaders who have conceded in 5/7 so far in the league this season. However, KuPS (who are managed by ex Motherwell and Derby County midfielder Simo Valakari) have won six and drawn one of their opening seven Veikkausliiga fixtures, scoring 13 times and given the hosts have shut-out just one of their opponents so far this season, they should also find the back of the net. Therefore, I’m happy to have a play on both teams to score in what should be a fairly attacking match on Tuesday afternoon.
