Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Turkish Süper Lig, and there’s one fixture in particular that stands out to me for both teams scoring.

Istanbul Başakşehir will look to keep pace with the top two as they travel to the Kadir Has Stadium to take on seventh-placed Kayserispor on Thursday afternoon.
Kayserispor returned to winning ways last time out, as they came from 2-1 down to defeat second-bottom Istanbulspor 2-4. Çağdaş Atan’s side heads into this fixture having found the back of the net in 14 of their previous 15 Süper Lig fixtures, scoring on multiple occasions in eight of those. However, The Anatolian Star have kept just one clean sheet across their last 13 league outings, conceding two or more strikes in nine of those matches.
Istanbul Başakşehir claimed their fifth victory from their last seven Süper Lig fixtures as they defeated Konyaspor 2-0 at home. Emre Belözoğlug’s side has found the back of the net in 15/20 of their league fixtures this season, scoring multiple goals in seven of their previous 10. However, The Grey Owls have kept just three clean sheets across their previous 14 league outings and none in either of their last seven league matches on their travels.
Bet of the Day
These two clubs head into this fixture off the back of victories last time, and given they’ve been finding the back of the net freely in recent months, we should expect a fairly decent encounter here.
Both teams to score has banked in 11 of Kayserispor’s previous 13 Süper Lig fixtures, and given the same has landed in five of Başakşehir’s last seven on their travels, I reckon there’s a decent chance we’ll see these two sides get on the scoresheet in Kayseri tomorrow afternoon.
