Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me travel to the Belgian Pro League and one I fancy Antwerp to be strong for their leaky hosts.

Royal Antwerp will look to go within five points of table-toppers Genk on Friday evening as they travel to the Elindus Arena to take on relegation-threatened Zulte Waregem.
Zulte Waregem’s winless run in the league was extended to nine matches last time out, but they did manage to come from two goals down to draw 2-2 at seventh-placed Standard Liège. However, Mbaye Leye’s hosts boast the division’s second-worst home record, collecting just 13 points from a possible 15 (W3-D4-L8), with that record changing to W1-D1-L8 when welcoming clubs positioned in 12th and above.
Antwerp saw their nine-match unbeaten run in the Belgian Pro League come to an end last time out, as they were beaten 0-1 at home to in-form Sporting Charleroi. However, Mark Van Bommel’s visitors boast the division’s third-best away record (W7-D4-L4), with that record changing to W4-D0-L1 when travelling to sides positioned in 13th and below – including a 0-2 victory against RFC Seraing in their previous away fixture.

Antwerp have been known as flat-track bullies in the Belgian top-flight this season, with Mark Van Bommel’s men having been victorious in 9/10 of their fixtures against the bottom-six clubs (W9-D0-L1).
The Reds have struck on multiple occasions in seven of those fixtures mentioned above – and I’m backing them to bag another double against a Zulte Waregem defence that has kept a solitary clean sheet across their previous 14 Pro League fixtures at home, conceding a staggering 41 goals.
