FaZe Clan took to their official Twitter page earlier this week to announce their new professional Valorant roster. The new team will be on hand to compete on Friday, April 29, as they make their debut at the Valorant Champions Tour: North American Stage 2 Challengers.
Making the list for the new roster are former Built by Gamers player Jake “Poach” Brumleve, 26-year old Andrej “Babybay” Francisty, former Rise players Kevin “POISED” Ngo and Phat “supamen” Le, and the youngest on the team in Quan “dicey” Tran.

In recent months, rumors have circulated that FaZe had reached an agreement to purchase the Rise roster. Having purchased “POISED” and “supamen” from Rise, they will compete in the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers, which will begin on April 29. “Poach” will also be on stage, and as a seasoned player on the lineup, “Babybay” will lead his team in macro decisions.
FaZe were also in the “final stages” of a deal Ryan “shanks” Ngo, who wasn’t mentioned in the announcement video but is most likely coming as a content developer.
FaZe Clan revealed their new lineup on April 27, two days before their S2C1 appearance in the Upper Round of 32. Subsequent to their elimination from VCT Stage 1 2022 at the hands of the Andbox, who has since rebranded to NYFU, the FaZe Valorant roster includes three new players.
Their early-2022 roster was unable to qualify for Challengers after losing in the second Open Qualifier, causing them to miss the year’s first international LAN event.
“POISED” was pleased to reunite with “supamen” at FaZe after the two worked together to help RISE Nation reach the top five in North America before disbanding in early 2022.

Joshua “JDM” Marzano will continue to coach and refine the lineup in order to improve the team’s chances in the forthcoming Challengers.
FaZe are on the same side of the Round of 32 brackets as Sentinels and will be hoping to advance further in this Challengers stage than they did in their previous appearance. They most recently competed in the Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly, finishing third after being spanked by TSM in the semifinals.
