The FPL world has been busy since we last brought you an update, with Gameweek 13 and 14 now in the bank.
In GWK13, we scored 41 points which was a little disappointing, but with Son Heung-Min not playing, it was hardly a surprise to see us drop down the standings.
In midweek, we netted 65 points which was much more like it, and it is our midfield that continues to bail us out of trouble.
As we discussed last week, strikers are struggling to shine this season, with Michail Antonio now out of form for West Ham.
Only Antonio, Emmanuel Dennis and Jamie Vardy have scored over 60 points as a striker; to put that into comparison, Mohamed Salah has 146 on his own. WITHOUT CAPTAINCY! Utter madness.
Moving into Gameweek 15, it looks like the best plan of action will be to load up with Liverpool players.
Thankfully for us, we already have our three key stars well in advance. In terms of transfers, it made sense to sit on our hands, but with Hee-Chan Hwang out of form and against Liverpool, we have made a change in the final third.
Goalkeeper – Aaron Ramsdale
The Arsenal stopper was in fine form last weekend, collecting a clean sheet and keeping Newcastle at bay on his own. In both matches against the Magpies and Manchester United, Ramsdale showed just how good he can be, and he remains in our ranks for the arrival of Everton.
The Toffees look lost without Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front, and an away win to nil at Goodison Park looks good value at 49/20.
Defenders – Joao Cancelo, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rudiger, Ben White
Cancelo and Rudiger did not do much for us over the last few days, but it looks like a risk to keep them out of the fold. Cancelo faces Watford, a team he can easily score against, while Rudiger tackles the Hammers, who are on the decline.
Alexander-Arnold is the first of our three Liverpool players this week, and he looks like a long-term solution at right-back. The England international scored 11 points in two gameweeks for our team, and he keeps his place, as does White, with the former Brighton man looking strong at the heart of the Gunners’ defence.
Midfielders – Mohamed Salah, Emile Smith Rowe, Son Heung-Min, Diogo Jota
Salah retains the armband, and if readers are trying to do something different, do not bother. The Egyptian is in a world of his own at the minute, and if you want to climb your mini-leagues, try to gain ground elsewhere.
Smith Rowe, Son and Jota all scored in midweek, and we would be stupid to try and change our midfield. After all, it is the main plus point of our team, with our main selection headache coming up front.
Salah is 5/6 to score anytime against Wolves, while Jota is 13/10 to net against his former club, and it is hard to put anyone off those two at the moment.
Forwards – Michail Antonio, Ivan Toney
It saddens me to admit that I am a little bit uninspired by our attack this weekend.
Having said that, it looks better than it did, with Wolves unlikely to score against the well-oiled machine, which is Liverpool.
Toney scored against Everton last weekend, and he will fancy his chances of scoring against Leeds United, who are yet to fully find their groove under Marcelo Bielsa this season.
The Brentford forward could also be classed as a long-term pick too, with the Bees playing the likes of Watford, Southampton and Brighton before the end of the year.
Antonio stays put and will do so until one of the other forwards starts to prove they can score on a consistent basis.
Captain – Mohamed Salah
