This week the festive football period really ramps up in intensity, with midweek action in the Premier League, EFL and a number of top European leagues.
We have high-profile fixtures from the Premier League, Championship, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1 to look forward to, and of course you can find all our detailed analysis for these games over on our Match Predictions page.
But, for those of you on the hunt for only the very best of value, we have an early Christmas present just for you.
Here at FST we’re blessed with a range of fantastic tipsters, and the results speak for themselves. We landed a huge 119/1 mega accumulator on Sunday and that was far from the only winner of the week. We also hit a 23/1 winner on Saturday and landed five of our seven Bet of the Day tips last week.
But we’re far from the only tipsters on the internet, and we’ve teamed up with a trio of high-profile football experts to bring you the top bets for Wednesday’s action.

Genoa vs AC Milan – AC Milan & both teams to score
Serie A leaders AC Milan are heavy favourites to see off a Genoa side who sit 19th. The hosts are in dismal form after losing each of their last five home games, but the Grifone have at least scored in their last four at home.
Milan have made a storming start away from home with five wins from five. In 2020 they’ve won 11 of 14 Serie A games away from San Siro, while they’re on a seven-game winning streak on the road in the league. Given that Milan have kept just one clean sheet in that winning run, an away win and both teams to score appeals.

Fulham vs Brighton – Both teams to score
Scott Parker’s Fulham sank back into the bottom three after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool last week, though the Cottagers would have taken huge amounts of confidence from their performance against the champions despite their resulting descent down the standings.
That was the third time in four Premier League assignments and the fifth match in eight overall involving Fulham where both teams found the net, while Brighton have seen both teams register in eight of their last 10 top-flight tussles since mid-September.
With just three clean sheets between them in a combined 24 Premier League fixtures since the summer, Fulham and Brighton have rarely looked like keeping their opponents out this term, and both teams should have opportunities to make their mark when these leaky defences face off in the capital.

Arsenal vs Southampton – Southampton double chance
Arsenal’s decline has been masked by their Europa League success recently but their 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Sunday was their fifth game without a win in the Premier League.
They have scored just two goals in their last eight top flight matches and look bereft of creativity and desire and the one player who never lacks passion – Granit Xhaka – will be suspended for the festive period after his shameful violent outburst at the weekend.
By contrast, Southampton are absolutely flying with just one defeat in their last ten league matches, which was a desperately unlucky loss at home to Manchester United. Danny Ings returned from injury in their 3-0 thrashing of Sheffield United and they haven’t lost on the road since gameweek one.

West Ham vs Crystal Palace – Both teams to score
West Ham are riding high in the Premier League and they are coming up with goals from all over the pitch which has helped them overcome the absence of the injured Michail Antonio.
The Hammers have scored in every game bar their opener against Newcastle, but visiting Crystal Palace played well and deserved their point in a 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.
Palace have scored in eight of the ten games started by Wilfried Zaha this term and both teams have notched in each of the last six meetings between the London pair.

Reading vs Norwich – Norwich to win
Championship leaders Norwich won 2-1 at Blackburn in a tough weekend fixture and they can make it 11 wins in 15 games with a victory at Reading.
The Canaries have shown great resolve after last season’s Premier League relegation, with ten of their 11 wins coming by a one-goal margin, and injured trio Todd Cantwell, Kenny McLean and Jordan Hugill were back in action at Ewood Park.
Reading have lost five of their last ten matches after a flying start to the campaign and they could be outclassed by Wednesday’s visitors.

Liverpool vs Tottenham – Liverpool to win
It’s the big game at the top of the Premier League and Liverpool and Tottenham both had slips at the weekend so will be looking to bounce back but I would go for the Merseysiders.
We have seen it a few times already where getting the fans back in – even if it is only 2,000 – has made quite a difference to home teams and the Anfield factor could be decisive.
This is a game between the best attack in the division and the best defence but Jose Mourinho’s style of play doesn’t do it for me and Liverpool’s extra intent can be decisive.
