Rogue have done reasonably well so far and enter this bout with a 3-1-1-1 record. They’ve won against Virtus.pro (8-6), Heroic (7-4), Natus Vincere (7-5), and Cowana Gaming (7-4), but lost against Team Empire (2-7) and G2 Esports (6-8), who beat them on Monday.
Team Secret have achieved far less and are 1-1-0-4 after five rounds of play. That run includes losses against Team Empire (5-7), Natus Vincere (5-7), and Team BDS (4-7) and wins against Heroic (8-6) and G2 Esports (7-2).
Team Secret are a very up-and-down team, and while they have higher highs, Secret are also the type of team that will underperform when least expected. Quality-wise there isn’t a lot to set Secret apart from Rogue, but we have to trust the consistency of the German squad.

G2 Esports are the better team on paper, so it makes a lot of sense for the esports betting sites to price them as $1.25 favourites against Heroic. However, G2 are also extremely poor on the attack, having lost all nine rounds across the last two days of play.
What exactly is happening with G2 and their showings on the attack is anyone’s guess, but seeing them struggle that much makes it extremely hard to trust them at the offered R6S betting odds. And it’s not like G2 have only recently started to underperform; out of 25 attack rounds this stage, they have won seven in total.
And it gets worse. If you take those seven wins and deduct those which were won by individual outplays (3k, 4k, clutches), you’re left with a single round. Stats like that show that while G2 field plenty of individual talent, something isn’t clicking.
Heroic have not won a single game (0-0-3-3), and it’s fair to doubt their chances to change that on Thursday. Still, considering G2’s abysmal showings, there’s plenty of value on Heroic at $3.60.
