AFTER quiet week or so its great to have 12 matches from the Euro qualifiers to get stuck into.
Having looked through the fixtures, there are a some good looking matches in terms of goals with Spain away to the Faroes Island’s and Sweden hosting Malta. These games alone should yield 7-8+ goals between them and that will help towards the Skybet total goals count which I like the look of.
A poplar trebles will be three home sides in the form of Austria, Czech Republic and Denmark to beat Slovenia, Bulgaria and Rep of Ireland respectively at just under 7/2. Its goals I’m going for though with bookies in my opinion very generous in the over 1.5 goals market.
Norway vs Romania (KO 7.45pm)
Sweden vs Malta (KO 7.45pm)
I’ve been impressed with the Norwegians over the last 12 months and they will be looking to make it 13 games unbeaten tonight as they host Romania.
8 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats is good going from their 12 games and they only failed to score in one of those. At home they have been terrific, scoring in 12 consecutive games and I fancy them to net at least once tonight against a Romania side who have kept just one clean sheet in their last 9 matches on the road.
They have scored though in 13 of their last 16 internationals and will cause the Norwegians problems. Expecting an open game here, Norway are strong at home and whilst not watertight at the back, Romania are more than capable of scoring.
Just a case of how many goals Sweden win by here – In the last 12 months at home they’ve scored 2 against, Turkey, Russia, Iceland and Romania, all of which are considerably stronger than Malta.
The Swede’s have stated their Euro 2020 campaign well with a 2-1 win against Romania followed up by a 3-3 drew away at neighbours Norway.
Malta have improved and performed admirably in a 2-0 defeat at home to Spain but on the road against the stronger sides they struggle – we should manage 3 goals here
Recommended Bets:
- Norway vs Romania over 1.5 goals
- Sweden vs Malta over 2.5 goals
- Double pays 93/100 (Marathon Bet) (NAP)
- Matches at Austria / Czech Rep / Lithuania / Macedonia / Latvia / Montenegro over 1.5 goals
- 7/1 (Ladbrokes)
Goals Specials
Skybet have total match goals markets available for the 11 qualifiers kicking off at 7.45pm. I’ve already mentioned the Spain and Sweden games for goals and with their being 11 games, we can guarantee at least 3 or 4 of them will see at least 3 or4 goals. There aren’t many I don’t think will see at least 2 so the 11/10 on 29+ goals is worth a punt and for some loose change all 11 over 1.5 goals pays a huge 33/1
- All 11 games 29+ goals
- 11/10 (Skybet)
- All 11 games over 1.5 goals
- 33/1 (Skybet)
