Italy v Spain
Spain have scored 12 times at this tournament, yet there is something unconvincing about La Roja in front of goal. Alvaro Morata has the highest xG of any player at the tournament, yet he has registered just twice and is perhaps a little guilty of overthinking when faced with a goal-scoring situation.
Against Switzerland, they struggled to break down a stubborn rear-guard and although they were free-flowing against Croatia, this Italian defence is made of tough stuff.
The Azzurri did concede against Belgium, however, that was the first time that they have been breached inside the regulation 90 minutes.
Roberto Mancini’s men are excellent going forward, and they are incredibly quick when it comes to transitions. They will need to be at their best in the final third to puncture the Spanish back-line and there is unlikely to be much between this pair.
With plenty at stake, this could get off to a slow start and it may just take a moment of magic to win this tie.
1-0 Italy | 7/1
England v Denmark
England are yet to concede a goal at this tournament and they will be incredibly tough to breach once again. Jordan Pickford has been excellent, whilst Harry Maguire and John Stones have been magnificent in the heart of their defence. They managed to keep the Czechs off the scoresheet, and they subsequently gave Denmark plenty of think about.
Gareth Southgate has prioritised pragmatism and he will be hoping for yet another solid performance, but their clean sheet record may come to an end here. The Three Lions will be backed by the vocal home fans once again, and that should help them across the line.
Denmark are a decent side, who have hit their stride in the last couple of weeks. They have plenty of threats going forward and will pepper the England goal with shots.
At the back, they are well-organised, however, England have plenty of options from the bench and they have players who are capable of turning this tie in the second half.
2-1 England | 9/1
