Renegades are rated as one of the weakest teams at the tournament. While there might be some truth in that, seeing how they hail from a relatively weak region, there are other teams that have been doing much worse than them – including OG.
OG benched Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt a couple of weeks back in favour of Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen, which arguably makes this team weaker. Niko might prove us wrong and perform better than his predecessor, but since he is a new arrival, we can’t expect much from him in the first couple of games.

By signing Miikka “suNny” Kemppi as their new in-game leader, FunPlus Phoenix have assembled quite a competitive roster; however, we don’t expect them to show their full potential anytime soon. The ex-ENCE IGL joined the team only a couple of days before the ESL Pro League Season 13 and is reportedly not confident enough to take over the role just yet.
This means FPX essentially have no IGL on the team, which will work against them when faced with more tactical outfits such as Heroic. Even though the Danes have made roster changes as well, the signing of Ismail “refrezh” Ali and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck is not nearly as impactful as changing your IGL.
While the CS:GO betting odds on Heroic are not particularly high, they are good enough for us to recommend this bet.

Complexity demolished FunPlus Phoenix on Monday with 16-6 on Nuke and 16-10 on Dust II, and they are all but guaranteed to defeat OG on Tuesday as well. However, Complexity still need to prove themselves against their biggest competition in Heroic and BIG, both of who they will face on Wednesday.
These sides last met in November 2020 when Complexity won 2-0 with 16-6 on Nuke and 16-14 on Overpass, which improved their head-to-head record to 8-10. The latest CS:GO betting odds suggest BIG should claim a revenge win, which is entirely possible; however, with the way Complexity have been playing of late, we expect a close affair that could go either way.
We would not recommend a bet on over 2.5 maps, since this match could easily spiral out of control if one side gets hot. That said, this is still a coin-flip, so you have to take the outsider odds for Complexity.
