3DMAX (formerly HEET) have, after six months, found a new home and enter ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023 with a point to prove. The French squad hasn’t looked amazing this season, but 3DMAX have found momentum since the transition to Counter-Strike 2.
Since October, Lucas “Lucky” Chastang and co. have made the finals of the Esportal Clash Open, won ESEA Cash Cup Europe – Autumn 2023 #2, and grabbed another silver medal from CCT East Europe Series #3. Unfortunately, their strong form might not mean much in this clash.
Virtus.pro are the outright favourites to win ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023, and rightly so. The Russian squad won Roobet Cup 2023 at the start of October and added a silver medal from Thunderpick World Championship 2023 with just one defeat against the current no.1 team in the world, FaZe Clan.
Virtus.pro are in excellent form and are making a case for themselves as one of the top-five teams in the world. So even though best-of-one games are a bit more unpredictable, VP should prove to be too much to handle for the French squad.

GamerLegion looked incredible early in the 2023 season and even made the finals of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Since then, however, they’ve not accomplished much.
In October, GamerLegion crashed out of Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 in seventh-eighth place, for which they deserve some slack given they were eliminated by the eventual champions, FaZe Clan. But what’s more concerning is that GL have not played an official game since.
MiBR have found some success over the last two months with a silver medal from CCT Online Finals #3 and back-to-back wins at XL Games 2023 and the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 South American Qualifier. While not the most challenging events, MiBR have shown good form, although they too have not played an official CS2 match this month.
As a best-of-one match between two rusty teams, no result would surprise us, but we have to side with a team that has a higher ceiling. At $1.83 with top CS2 betting sites, GamerLegion are an excellent bet.
