FRIDAY’S Euro 2020 qualifiers were absolutely horrendous for punters – no goals, England’s shocking defeat and did I mention no goals. It was a tough night but plenty of domestic matches in England to concentrate on today.
I’ve picked out 2 matches from todays English card – Peterborough’s home match against Lincoln, and Swindon’s League 2 match against Plymouth.
You can listen to our thoughts on both matches on this weeks Gambla Betting Podcast as we preview both games.
Peterborough vs Lincoln (KO 3pm)
Supporters of Peterborough certainly can’t claim they haven’t been entertained so far this season – The London Road club have seen 41 goals scored in their 11 matches this season which is more than any other club in the league.
They’ve seen 22 goals in their 5 home matches and with 28 goals scored this season already and 2 or more goals scored in 8 of their 11 games, there’s a good chance we’ll see at least another 3 goals today.
Lincoln got a much needed win last weekend which ultimately cost Sunderland manager Jack Ross his job – All 6 of their away games this season have seen both sides score with 5 of those going over 2.5 goals.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 2.5 goals
- 6/7 (V Bet) (NAP)
Swindon vs Plymouth (KO 3pm)
These two meet for the second time in a week here after Plymouth ran out 3-0 winners on Tuesday night in the EFL Trophy.
There’s not much between the sides in the league and with Swindon being the second highest scorers in the league with 19 goals but also having the worst defensive record of any side in the top 10, we should see both sides score.
Swindon have been involved in plenty of high scoring matches this season with 5 of their games seeing at least 4 goals.
The visitors are in good form which is a far cry from their opponents today – they’ll be looking for a repeat of Tuesdays performance.
Recommended Bet
- Over 2.5 goals
- 3/4 (Betway)
