A four-game losing streak doesn’t look good, but Team WE deserve some slack since the final two games didn’t matter, as they had nothing left to fight for. So as bad as their loss against FunPlus Phoenix looks, we shouldn’t focus much on it.
That defeat is likely the main reason why Team WE are priced as underdogs for this match, since it’s tough to say that EDward Gaming have looked any better this split. These two teams have very similar performance metrics, and it’s hard to justify saying one is better than the other.
The market is still very bullish on EDward Gaming, as it has been this entire split, but this looks like a 50-50 match at best. Team WE at the offered LPL betting odds is an excellent value bet.
