The offered Dota 2 betting odds on this match don’t seem right. Even though we’re not trying to say that Coolguys deserve to be the favourites, they shouldn’t be priced that high.
Alliance and Coolguys are both 0-2 after the first two rounds of action. Even though Alliance had to face more challenging opponents in Tundra Esports and Team Secret, that’s no excuse for their poor performance.
No result would surprise us, and while Alliance look stronger on paper, it’s hard to make a case for them at $1.28. Coolguys with a map handicap is a solid pick, but there’s far more value on the moneyline.

OG enter this bout with a 1-1 record that includes a 2-0 win against Team Secret and a narrow 1-2 defeat against Team Liquid. Nigma Galaxy have been far less convincing, suffering back-to-back losses against Team Tickles and Tundra Esports.
Nigma deserve some slack for their poor performances since they had to play without Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi – who is confirmed to return on Tuesday – but we don’t expect to see much improvement with him back in action. That is mainly because Nigma continuously put themselves in unfavourable situations with poor team compositions, which won’t do them any favours against OG.
We could be in for a close series, but at $2.66, we have to take OG to cover the map handicap.
