I HOPE you are all well during these strange times and appreciate that old saying “your health is your wealth”.
It’s good to be back after so long away although I don’t have my favourite games from the Scottish lower leagues to look at.
However, a full house on Saturday would be most welcome as I attempt to decipher day one in the EFL.
Two teams l like the look of on Saturday to score 2+ goals are well fancied for promotion in League One.
Fleetwood and Sunderland both start at home and two home wins look likely to launch their promotion push.
The Cod Army fought back from two down last weekend to beat Wigan 3-2 and are nicely priced at 11-10 with Ladbrokes to score 2+ goals against a Burton side conceding 3 goals away at Peterborough on Tuesday night.
Next up are Sunderland at home to Bristol Rovers. The Black Cats warmed up nicely for their opener by scoring 8 times against an Aston villa Under-21s side in the EFL Trophy and will hopefully take their shooting boots with them against a Bristol Rovers side losing on their last couple of visits to the Stadium of Light 3-0 and 2-1. Going for a straight 3pts double that pays 10-3 at Ladbrokes
Teams to Score 2+ Double
- Fleetwood
- Sunderland
- (10-3, Ladbrokes) – 3pts
Both Teams to Score Double
- Preston vs Swansea
- Accrington vs Peterborough
- (2-1, Ladbrokes) – 1pt
Over 2.5 Goals Double
- Bournemouth vs Blackburn
- Bradford vs Colchester
- Oldham vs Orient
- (7-1, Ladbrokes) – 1pt
Sevenfold roll-up: 100-1 – 0.5pt
