Manchester City can take another big step towards the Premier League title on Sunday, as they look to continue their impressive form against Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola’s side have come on leaps and bounds since last season and now the Citizens look like they will take some stopping to be denied another league crown.
City set to Haunt Gunners Once Again
Arsenal teams have struggled to cope with City over recent years, with Guardiola’s side winning all of their last seven Premier League games against the north London outfit.
Not only have City tended to win these encounters, but they have done so convincingly with an 18-2 aggregate scoreline in these last seven league meetings.
In all competitions, Arsenal have failed to score in seven of the last nine encounters with City, and it looks like the visitors can dominate again at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
City, who have the best defensive record in the league this season, are 7/5
to win to nil against Mikel Arteta’s side.
United to Add to Magpies Woes
Manchester United will look to build on their Europa League success in midweek as they host Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Reds Devils put a disappointing 1-1 stalemate with West Brom to bed, as they thrashed Real Sociedad 4-0 on Thursday night at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will now fancy their chances of securing another comprehensive win against strugglers Newcastle this weekend.
The Red Devils have won their last two meetings 4-1 against the Magpies, who are now looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation zone.
Without their injured star striker Callum Wilson, Newcastle lack a cutting edge in attack and United themselves should create plenty of chances.
United to score over 3.5 goals for a third consecutive match against the Magpies is available at 51/20
.
Foxes to Take Down Villans
After a 3-1 win at reigning champions Liverpool in their last Premier League outing, Leicester City will be brimming with confidence when they travel to Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Foxes find themselves up in third place in the Premier League table and competing for a return to Champions League football next season.
Villa, who sit in eighth place in the standings, have also enjoyed a strong campaign as they too look to secure European football for next term.
However, Dean Smith’s side were frustrated last time out with a goalless draw at Brighton and Leicester will pose far more attacking threat than the Seagulls.
Leicester are currently 5/4
to claim all three points on the road at Villa Park, while star striker Jamie Vardy is 16/5
to score the opening goal of the game.
