After slipping to 3-4 following defeat to the Titans on October 24th, the Chiefs have managed to turn things around and they are currently on a six-game winning run, having beaten the Giants, Packers, Raiders (twice), Cowboys and the Broncos.
Led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City, who are 5/1 to win Super Bowl LVI, now lead the AFC West with a record of 9-4, narrowly ahead of the Chargers who sit second on 8-5.
The Chargers did get the better of the Chiefs at the start of the campaign, winning 30-24 at Arrowhead Stadium, and they are 29/20 to do the double over their opponents, who are 20/33 to triumph.
Chiefs to Extend Streak
It’s hard to see the Chargers having enough to get the better of the Chiefs for a second time, especially given the form of QB Mahomes, who has thrown 27 touchdowns this season to sit joint-fifth in this department.

The 26-year-old has plenty of attacking options at his disposal, none more so than wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who has had 75 receptions for 855 yards and eight touchdowns so far this term.
Kansas have scored 351 points this season, exactly the same as the Chargers, but the Chiefs have been better in defence than their opponents, conceding 268 points to the 336 of LA.
Thursday’s hosts have also been hit-and-miss at home, their record standing at 4-3, and Kansas look ready to end the Chargers’ hopes of winning the AFC West.
Injuries Causing Issues
The Chiefs will be without CB L’Jarius Sneed due to the death of his brother, while LB Willie Gay is also missing after he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Star defensive lineman Chris Jones is also on COVID reserve and will likely be sidelined, while OG Andrew Wylie is questionable but was a full participant in practice all week.
These absentees in defence could provide the Chargers with some scoring opportunities and the 25/27 price on over 52.5 points in the contest looks like a good one to side with.
Williams Ready to Shine
Although LA may come up short in this one, receiver Mike Williams looks a warm order at 7/4 to score a touchdown anytime and he is on course to be available for this contest after taking part in full practice on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old appears to have overcome a heel issue and he will be chomping at the bit to find his way into the End zone, something he has managed to do seven times this season.
