The Premier League puts on a triple-header on Sunday, with the later kick-off between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea the pick of the bunch.
There are two games scheduled for 14:00 UK time as Brighton welcome Leicester City to the Amex Stadium and West Ham play host to Manchester United, before Spurs and the Blues face-off at 16:30.
Injuries Piling up for Spurs
Spurs made a fine start to the season under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo, winning their opening three games, however, a defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend was followed up by a disappointing draw against Rennes in the Europa Conference League.
Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn sustained injuries during the meeting with the French side and they are expected to miss Sunday’s London derby.
Japhet Tanganga is suspended, Giovani lo Celso, Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez are still in quarantine, while Son Heung-min and Eric Dier are doubts.
In contrast, Chelsea, who will move level on points with leaders Liverpool if they pick up a win, are set to welcome back key midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The European champions are unbeaten in five fixtures against Tottenham and they are worth backing at 5/7
to come out on top.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have only conceded once in four outings and they offer interest at 7/4
to win to nil.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku has opened the scoring in three of his four appearances for the Blues since returning this summer and he looks an attractive option to score first at 14/5
.
Foxes Could be Fatigued
Brighton will be the fresher of the two sides when Leicester, who drew 2-2 with Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday, head to the South Coast.
They threw away a two-goal lead when the Italian outfit visited the King Power Stadium and the quick turnaround will test Leicester’s squad depth.
Meanwhile, the Seagulls are flying high in sixth after winning three of their opening four games and they are available at 33/20
.
Under 2.5 goals, which is available at 4/5
, also offers interest with three of Brighton’s four fixtures containing two goals or fewer, while Leicester have only notched four times this campaign.
Antonio Absence Likely to Cost Hammers
Michail Antonio misses West Ham’s home clash with Manchester United due to suspension and that should hand the visitors the advantage.
The Jamaica international was the Hammers’ joint-top scorer last term and he’s already struck five times across all competitions this campaign.
David Moyes doesn’t have another number nine in his squad and he may have to deploy summer signing Nikola Vlasic through the middle to fill the void.
The Red Devils ended last term with the second-best away record in the Premier League and, having won 3-1 at West Ham, backing them at 10/13
to come out on top on Sunday looks the way to go.
