It’s finally time.

We’ve seen a massive 385 goals scored across 118 games played over a 12 month period in the most surreal and bizarre of Champions League seasons, but on Sunday we finally get to direct our gaze towards Lisbon and watch a mouthwatering Champions League Final.

It’s a final that promises goals galore and an absolute treat for the neutrals as PSG face off with Bayern Munich. PSG, boasting the world’s two most expensive players in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, face off against a Bayern Munich side spearheaded by the world’s best out-and-out striker, Robert Lewandowski.

The numbers speak for themselves: These two have scored 65 goals in a combined 20 Champions League fixtures this season, accounting for 17% of the total goals scored in this season’s competition.

Robert Lewandowski has 15 of those goals and is just two shy of Cristiano Ronaldo’s single-season record, despite playing fewer games than the Portuguese ace. Neymar, Mbappe and Icardi, meanwhile, have scored 13 goals and provided nine assists between them.

How to watch the Champions League Final

BT Sport continue to hold all the rights to screen the 2019/20 Champions League in the UK and you can follow all the action on their package of channels.

The Champions League Final will be aired on BT Sport 1, BT Sport Extra 1, and BT Sport Ultimate.

Don’t have a BT Sport subscription? No problem – the Final will also be screened on BT Sport Youtube for free, as well as on Virgin Media Previews.

Coverage will begin from 7pm on Sunday and continue through to 11pm, although it will possibly be even longer if there’s extra-time and penalties.

We’ll be treated to a match of the highest quality from both sides on Sunday as they line up without any match-defining injury problems.

PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas is a double after missing their semi-final clash with RB Leipzig, but backup stopper Rico did a fine job in the Costa Rica international’s absence and Thomas Tuchel will have little concern over his ability.

Meanwhile, Marco Verratti could sneak into the starting lineup after making an early return from injury against RB Leipzig, pushing Leandro Paredes to the bench.

PSG captain Thiago Silva will play his last game for the French club, while left back Juan Bernat will line up against his former club.

Bayern Munich team news

Jerome Boateng is a doubt for Bayern Munich after being taken off with an injury at half-time against Lyon, with Niklas Sule likely to deputise should Boateng fail to recover.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard has returned from injury and could slot in at right back, which would free up Joshua Kimmich to play in midfield, although after their recent performances it would be a surprise to see Hansi Flick change things too much.

Leroy Sane is ineligible after his transfer from Manchester City, while fellow wide midfielder Kingsley Coman is unlikely to start ahead of the in-form Ivan Perisic or Serge Gnabry.
