After a mixed week in Europe for the Old Firm, it’s back to domestic matters in Scotland this weekend, with the standout clash coming at Easter Road on Sunday.
It’s fourth versus first as Hibs face Celtic and the visitors will be seeking a crucial win to put more pressure on their Glasgow rivals Rangers, ahead of their latest league match on Sunday afternoon.
High-Scoring Hoops Can See Off Hibs

Celtic head to Edinburgh this Sunday lunchtime (12:00) trying to extend their three-point advantage at the top of the Scottish Premiership. The league leaders are 4/9 to collect the win, with Hibs 11/2 and the draw available at 10/3.
The Hoops have won eight league games in a row and look to be facing Hibs at the right time, with Shaun Maloney’s men having won just one of their last seven in the league.
Maloney, a former Celtic star, will undoubtedly be wary of the attacking threat posed by the visitors – with Celtic having scored 13 goals in their last four Premiership matches.
With the Bhoys’ current scoring form, over 3.5 goals is a tempting 39/20, while Giorgios Giakoumakis – who scored a hat-trick against Dundee last week – is available at 7/2 to score first.
Gers Look Too Good for Winless ‘Well
Motherwell are the visitors to Ibrox on Sunday afternoon (15:00), with Rangers looking to extend their unbeaten home run in the league to 34 matches.
Fresh from an impressive Europa League aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund, the defending champions will fancy their chances of claiming three more points at Ibrox, against a Motherwell team that are yet to win a league game in 2022.
The visitors’ away record is particularly bad, collecting just two points from a possible 21 in their last seven games on the road.
Rangers are 4/19 to claim another win, with Motherwell 12/1 and the draw available to back at 5/1. The Gers are also 10/11 to win to zero.
In-Form Buddies Can Ace Hearts
Although Hearts are well clear in third – nine points ahead of rivals Hibs – their recent form has been patchy and they face a tough trip to St Mirren Park on Saturday.
The Jambos have not won any of their last four in the Scottish Premiership and have scored just twice during that run.
Meanwhile, the hosts go into the 15:00 kick off unbeaten in eight in all competitions and it was October when they last lost at home in the league.
Stephen Robinson’s men have moved themselves up to seventh and away from the relegation tussle, recently beating Aberdeen and drawing with Celtic on their home patch.
Former Wolves and Blackpool midfielder Connor Ronan has been amongst the goals, bagging six so far this term, and is 23/10 to score at anytime.
St Mirren are available to back at 11/5 to collect the three points on Saturday, with Hearts 13/10 and the draw 11/5.
