Toronto Ultra are priced as heavy favourites for their clash with Las Vegas Legion, which isn’t too shocking. Ultra are one of the top teams in the CDL, and they’ve looked excellent over the last three weeks of action.
Their search & destroy needs more work, as was evident in their 3-1 victory over Los Angeles Thieves last week. It marked the third search & destroy map Toronto Ultra has dropped this season—previously against Los Angeles Guerrillas and one against Boston Breach.
While Toronto Ultra needs to clean up a bit, they shouldn’t struggle against Las Vegas Legion. With a 1-5 record and just one win against Minnesota RØKKR, the Legion are not in a good spot, but they forced OpTic to five maps last week and played a fairly close map one against FaZe on Sunday.
There is a world where the Legion steals one map, but it seems just as likely that Toronto Ultra sweeps.

Miami Heretics have looked fairly decent this season. They are 3-2, with defeats against Seattle Surge and Boston Breach. Losing two games might not mean much; however, we have to note that Miami Heretics’ three wins came against the bottom teams.
Los Angeles Guerrillas have outperformed expectations in the CDL Major 1 Qualifier. Even though they’re 2-3, the Guerrillas played well last week against Atlanta FaZe and Boston Breach. The Guerrillas have posted similar results as Heretics, but they had to play much tougher opponents.
Esports betting sites have Los Angeles Guerrillas priced as favourites, which is fair. But considering Miami Heretics haven’t shown much against stronger teams, the price gap should probably be even bigger.

Seattle Surge got humiliated by Toronto Ultra at the start of CDL Major 1 Qualifier Week 3, but then bounced back with a 3-2 victory against Miami Heretics. In the second round, Seattle lost against FaZe and OpTic but ended the first round with two wins against Los Angeles Thieves and Boston Breach.
Based on those results, Seattle Surge seems like the gatekeeper for a top-four finish and a potential dark horse to produce a deep run. They’re not quite at the level of top teams, but they’re still better than most mid-table squads.
Minnesota RØKKR are not in a good spot. Their only victory came on Sunday, when RØKKR defeated Carolina Royal Ravens. Still, they have produced some solid games even against stronger opponents, such as New York Subliners and OpTic Texas.
RØKKR seem they’re a couple of roster changes away from becoming very competitive, as they’re decent on respawns and have won a few search & destroy maps. This doesn’t mean they’ll have an easy time against Seattle Surge, but there’s a chance that they can steal two maps.
Minnesota RØKKR +1.5 maps
