Legacy parted ways with Lucas “Nqz” Soares on Saturday and have already found a replacement in Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara, who returned from his loan at RED Canids. The roster change shouldn’t affect Legacy too much since nqz played only eight official matches for the team. At the same time, the return of bartiN shouldn’t make Legacy any better.
Legacy found some success at the start of the month when they won CBCS 2023 Season 3. Unfortunately, the Brazilians haven’t looked as good in recent international events, which explains why they are priced as $2.28 underdogs with Betway for their clash with 9Pandas.
Ranked no.39 in the world, 9Pandas have made a name for themselves with a top-four finish at CCT Central Europe Series #8 and strong showings against other tier-two CS2 teams. Most of their recent resurgence is thanks to Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov, who is averaging a 1.16 performance rating, and their +54% win rate on Inferno, Nuke, Overpass, and Anubis.
Besides their poor record against teams not from their region, Legacy also have a terrible map pool, with a positive win rate on just two maps in the rotation: Ancient (70%) and Overpass (53%). With Vertigo and Ancient likely vetoed, Legacy will find themselves in a tough spot for this match.
