Without star Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks ended their three-game losing streak on Sunday, with Khris Middleton grabbing 21 points in a 124-87 win over Orlando Magic.
Third in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks next meet the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, while Sunday saw the LA Clippers grab a fifth win in a row and improve their record to 37-18.
They sit third in the Western Conference and will hope for a favourable run of results on Monday with the top two, Utah and Phoenix, in action.
Gobert Can Inspire the Jazz
The Jazz are performing well at both ends of the court, fostering a 40-13 record, with Rudy Gobert leading the way with a 15-point average to go with his brilliant defensive work.
Meanwhile, Washington lost last time out against the Suns but have Russell Westbrook in excellent form, recording triple-doubles in each of his last four games.
Westbrook is a doubt to start and the Jazz, recent 128-112 winners over the Kings are 25/27 to once again beat the handicap.
Phoenix to Rise Past Houston
The aforementioned Suns, second in the West, are also ready to go on Monday against the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets have lost seven of their last eight and look to be sliding towards the worst record in the league, with Minnesota now just one game behind their 14-39.
Things are much more positive for the Suns, who sit second in the Conference at 37-15 and well within striking distance of the best record in the league.
With them 20-8 at home this season, another handicap punt seems sensible with the hosts 25/27 giving away a 13-point deficit.
No Road Worries for Philly
Top dogs in the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia, end their ongoing road trip against the Dallas Mavericks, an opponent they beat 111-97 in February.
After cruising past Oklahoma 117-93, the 76ers will look to build some momentum ahead of a tough run with the Nets, Clippers, Suns and Bucks all up in the next 10 days.
Their injury issues seem a thing of the past and they face a Dallas team who agonisingly lost 119-117 to San Antonio on Sunday.
The Mavs have Kristaps Porzingis in spectacular form, grabbing 31 points and 15 rebounds against the Spurs. His combination with Luca Doncic continues to grow, but the 76ers kept them quiet earlier this year and another Money Line win appeals at 20/29.
Streaky Wolves to Bite Wounded Nets
Finally and the ailing Brooklyn Nets begin their two-game road run at the Timberwolves.
Possessing the worst record in the NBA this season, Minnesota are getting bodies back, with Malik Beasley their only absentee, and beat the Chicago Bulls 121-117 on Sunday.
The Nets lost 126-101 to the LA Lakers, the Californians exposing some of their front-court defensive issues and they continue to be without both Kyrie Irving and James Harden.
More responsibility, therefore, falls on Kevin Durrant, who is averaging 28.1 points per game, but has managed just 17 and 22 since returning from his recent lay-off.
In contrast, Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 27.7 points since the All-Star break and there is real value in the Wolves’ 11/4 Money Line price.
