Bristol City remain in the race for the playoffs but Dean Holden’s side are struggling for consistency of late, having lost three of their last five to slip down to seventh.
The Robins were surprisingly beaten 2-0 by Rotherham United on Saturday but a return to Ashton Gate could be exactly what they required, as they have lost just four in 12 on home soil in all competitions this season.
Millwall’s play-off push has faded in recent months and they are without a win in their last 10, while their most recent success came at the end of October.
It looks like it will be another difficult evening for the Lions and backing Bristol to win at 9/5 could be the route to go down.
Brentford Hoping to Leapfrog Watford
Brentford make the short trip across London to play promotion rivals Watford at Vicarage Road. Both teams are in the playoff places, with Watford just two points better off than Thomas Frank’s side.
The Hornets have won their last two games to recover from their defeat to Cardiff City, while the Bees are unbeaten in their last 11 as they look to challenge for automatic promotion.
It is so hard to split the pair but backing both teams to score at 1/1 seems a sensible choice, given the fact they have scored 49 league goals between them this term.
Norwich Planning to Dent Reading’s Promotion Bid
Reading returned to winning ways on Saturday as they secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers and the Royals look to have found their mojo again, with one just defeat in six after a sticky patch.
Norwich will arrive at the Madejski Stadium on the back of three straight wins and their form on the road is impressive, with just one defeat in their last seven away from Carrow Road.
The Canaries also have the upper hand in the head-to-head battle, winning four of their last five and scoring 16 goals in the process.
A high-scoring affair could be on the cards on Wednesday and a Norwich win with BTTS is worth considering at odds of 3/1.
