One team that will be concerned by their recent run are QPR, who have failed to win any of their last seven matches and find themselves just two points outside the relegation zone.
Tuesday’s 3-0 defeat at previously winless Barnsley highlighted the R’s current problems, with Robert Dickie now suspended after the defender’s red card at Oakwell.
Cardiff are the visitors to Loftus Road on Saturday and Neil Harris’ men head to London on a run of five games without defeat – one win and four draws.
The Bluebirds – who are 6/4 to collect the points – have also looked good on the road with two wins and two draws in their last four games outside of Wales.
There will also be an extra incentive for the visitors to claim the win, having been thumped 6-1 at QPR back in January.
Robins to Bounce Back
Saturday’s early game sees Bristol City play host to Norwich and the hosts are a very tempting price at 13/5 to claim the victory.
After a fine start to the season, the Robins have failed to win any of their last four fixtures but that run of games was tough and they will see this as the chance to get back to winning ways.
Norwich travel to Ashton Gate having gone four games without defeat, although they haven’t been impressive during that run.
A late penalty saw them win at 10-man Rotherham in the last minute, while Birmingham also had a man sent off in their late defeat at Carrow Road.
The Canaries then squeezed past bottom club Wycombe in stoppage time, before another late goal helped them to a draw at Brentford.
That goal run plus the fact that the Robins’ last three goals come in the second 45 minutes, makes the ‘Half With Most Goals’ one to consider, with the second half available to back at 1/1.
Tight Affair Expected at Oakwell
Barnsley have lifted themselves out of the relegation zone after collecting six points in their last four matches and their next test is at home to Watford.
The Tykes have kept two clean sheets in their last three home games, while Watford have conceded just four goals in their opening eight league games.
The Hornets have also only managed to score more than one goal in one of those matches and Under 2.5 goals at 20/33 looks the way to go.
Experienced Pair to Share the Spoils
Chris Hughton continues his attempts to turn around Nottingham Forest’s season when they travel to Teesside to take on Middlesbrough.
Forest are unbeaten in their four games (one win and three draws) under Hughton and they are slowly but surely making progress, but they face a Boro side unbeaten in seven matches, a run which has seen them move up to eighth and just one point outside the top six.
Neil Warnock has built that success around a solid backline, with Boro conceding just one goal in their last four Championship games.
A draw looks the way to go here, priced at 41/20, with two experienced managers trying to keep things tight with the hope of pinching a goal.
