RANGERS are 1/2 favourites to lift the League Cup but must jump a tricky hurdle in Paisley tonight to book their place in the last four.
St Mirren are whopping 9/1 outsiders at McBookie to win in 90 minutes but head into this clash in fine form, with two ‘forfeits’ their only defeats in 11 games.
Aberdeen crashed out in Paisley in the last round and although Gers should be too strong for Jim Goodwin’s men, I’m not expecting a stroll.
In the handicaps, St Mirren +2 pays 21/20 at McBookie and that could be worth a punt in what may be a tight match. Under 3.5 goals could also come up but it’s just 8/13.
