Monday – Bayern Munich vs Arminia Bielefeld (Bundesliga)

Where to watch: BT Sport 2, 7:30pm

Odds on Bundesliga title favourites Bayern Munich go head to head with relegation candidates Arminia Bielefeld in our first pick of the week, and not many are expecting anything other than a Bayern win on Monday. Bielefeld have shown signs of improvement lately, but Bayern have won seven games on the trot and haven’t lost to Bielefeld since 2006.

Key stats:

  • Bayern Munich have won seven games in a row and conceded just two goals.
  • Arminia Bielefeld have lost each of their last six meetings with Bayern Munich, scoring just twice.
  • Bayern Munich haven’t lost a home game in any competition since November 2019.

Betting tip: Bayern Munich to win to nil at 20/21

Tuesday – Barcelona vs PSG (Champions League)

Where to watch: BT Sport 3 at 8pm

Not many ties have delivered as much entertainment as this one over the last few years, and once again Barcelona and PSG lock horns in the Champions League on Tuesday. Former Barca man Neymar will be absent through injury for the Parisiens, but with the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi on the pitch we can expect goals.

Key stats:

  • 32 goals have been scored in the eight competitive meetings between Barca and PSG.
  • PSG have scored in 29 of their last 31 competitive games.
  • Barcelona have conceded in each of their last six games.

Betting tip: Both teams to score at 1/2

COMPLIANT - Axel Witsel Borussia Dortmund Champions League

Wednesday – Sevilla vs Borussia Dortmund (Champions League)

Where to watch: BT Sport 3, 8pm

Europa League specialists Sevilla look to step it up a notch and deliver on the grandest stage of them all, and they couldn’t have drawn a better opponent as they face a Borussia Dortmund side enduring a torrid season. Sevilla are our outsider pick for Champions League glory, and they could show why they attracted our attention on Wednesday.

Key stats:

  • Sevilla have won their last nine competitive games.
  • Sevilla have kept a clean sheet in each of their last seven matches.
  • Borussia Dortmund have won just two of their last seven fixtures.

Betting tip: Sevilla to win at 13/10

Thursday – Real Sociedad vs Manchester United (Europa League)

Where to watch: BT Sport 1, 5:55pm

Manchester United were dealt a double whammy as they were eliminated from the Champions League group stages before being drawn against arguably the most difficult opponent available in Real Sociedad. The first leg is taking place on neutral ground in Torino but, given Sociedad’s poor home form and Man Utd’s notorious away record, that could actually benefit the Spaniards here.

Key stats:

  • Manchester United have only won one of their last six games in normal time.
  • Real Sociedad are unbeaten in seven games over 90 minutes.
  • Real Sociedad lost just one of their six Europa League group stage games this season.

Betting tip: Real Sociedad double chance at 8/11

Friday – Brest vs Lyon (Ligue 1)

Where to watch: BT Sport ESPN (20:00)

Lyon missed out on the chance to go top of Ligue 1, albeit for a potentially short period of time, when they lost to Montpellier on Saturday and they could face resistance at an improving Brest. The hosts are trying to battle their way up the midfield pack and are in fine goalscoring form, but Lyon aren’t exactly devoid of attacking talent either.

Key stats:

  • Both teams have scored in eight of Brest’s last nine home matches.
  • Lyon have conceded in six of their last nine competitive matches.
  • Only five teams have scored more Ligue 1 goals than Brest this season.

Betting tip: Both teams to score at 4/6

COMPLIANT - Mohamed Salah for Liverpool vs Ajax in the Champions League

Saturday – Liverpool vs Everton (Premier League)

Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event, 5:30pm

Saturday evening viewing doesn’t get much bigger than the Merseyside Derby and it promises to be an electric affair despite the lack of fans. Everton are in serious contention to actually finish above their cross-city rivals this season, but they haven’t beaten Liverpool in any of their last 24 meetings and their last victory at Anfield came in 1999. Could this be the year that changes?

Key stats:

  • Liverpool have won just two of their last eight games in all competitions.
  • Everton have only lost one of their last eight matches.
  • 11 of the last 19 Merseyside Derbies have ended as draws.
  • Liverpool have lost three consecutive home games in the top flight for the first time since 1963.

Betting tip: Everton double chance at 5/4

Sunday – Arsenal vs Manchester City (Premier League

Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event, 4:30pm

Pep Guardiola visits the Emirates in the most recent instalment of student vs teacher as he squares off against former assistant Mikel Arteta, but there is absolutely no doubt who is still the master. Pep Guardiola’s City side, at the time of writing, are on a 16 match winning streak in all competitions and a huge chasm of 22 points separates these sides in the table.

Key stats:

  • Manchester City have won 16 consecutive matches in all competitions.
  • Arsenal have lost three of their last five games, winning only once.
  • Manchester City have won nine of their last ten meetings with Arsenal, scoring 25 goals and conceding five.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win at 1/2
