MONDAY evening again presents us with another full Belgian Reserve card and there are some cracking games, none more so than Lommel who are at home to league leaders Waasland.
Lommel need no introduction having tipped them 4 or 5 times now over the last few months and with the leagues best side and highest scorers coming to down, there’s no case to be had not to expect goals
Really really surprised on how the bookies have priced this, there is absolutely now way we should be getting nearly even money on over 1.5 first half goals.
Lommel Reserves vs Waasland Beveren Reserves (KO 6pm)
Its the perfect storm here as table topping Waasland who are the leagues leading scorers with 54 goals from their 20 games travel to a Lommel sides who have the worst defensive record in the league with 66 goals shipped and a team who’s league matches have seen a ridiculous 111 goals (avg 5.3 goals per match)
Last weeks 2-2 draw for Lommel was the 15th time this season both the home and away side scored at least 2 goals each and its hard to imagine Waasland coming here and failing to score at least 2 or 3 goals.
The visitors have won 7 consecutive matches scoring 22 goals in the process and they have already dished out a number of hammerings to the leagues weaker sides, including a 6-0 thumping of todays opponents earlier in the season.
Lommel may be struggling but they have scored 2 or more goals in all 11 Monday night matches at home and that bodes well for tonight’s match.
9 of Lommels 11 home matches have seen at least 4 goals and its hard to see anything but goals – the bookies however, wow, really don’t know how they can price this game up at 19/20 for over 1.5 first half goals, its an incredible price and often is the case with this league, there is terrific value in first half goals.
