After a rare weekend off, Atletico Madrid return to action on Tuesday with the chance to stretch their lead at the top of the La Liga table.
Diego Simeone’s side saw their game at the weekend postponed due to heavy snow, and they will be hoping to capitalise on their extra few days rest when they welcome Sevilla to the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico have a one-point cushion over Real Madrid, but Tuesday’s clash is one of three games in hand. Sevilla arrive in Madrid in great form of late, and they will be hoping to leave with all three points in the league for the first time since 2008.
Despite sitting top of the table, Atletico will feel they have a point to prove this week.
Simeone’s men crashed out of the Copa del Rey at the hands of Cornella last time out, and they have not been able to put the record straight since then.
Both Madrid clubs are being tipped to fight for the title, but Atletico still have to get the points on the board, and they could not ask for a more challenging task this Tuesday.
Atletico have won four in a row at home in the league, only conceding two goals during that time, but Sevilla are unbeaten in six in the Spanish top flight and their form away from home is impressive.
They have won three and drawn one since their 2-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao at the end of October.
Tuesday’s game promises to be a nailbiter, but it is hard to look past Atletico’s record in the fixture.
They have lost just one of their last 19 league games against Sevilla, 17 of those have been under Simeone’s watch.
Sevilla are capable of scoring in the match, but Atletico’s players should be much fresher and come out on top, and a home win with both teams to score is 10/3.
Granada Looking to Make it Three in a Row
Granada are also in action on Tuesday evening when they take on Osasuna on home soil.
Granada are dreaming of a top-six finish this season, but they will need to return to winning ways on Tuesday in order to try and fulfil those ambitions.
Granada have lost three of their last four to move six points behind sixth-placed Sevilla, but a top-10 place looks much more realistic.
Despite four draws in a row, Osasuna remain 19th in the table after a sloppy start to the campaign. They are three points from safety, and their away form suggests they could endure a tough night on Tuesday.
Osasuna’s last away win came in September against Cadiz and they have lost their previous two games against Granada.
Granada have lost just one of their last eight against Osasuna, and they look the sensible bet at odds of 13/10.
