Werder Bremen v Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg have come flying out the traps since the Bundesliga’s resumption, winning two out of two and rattling in 11 goals.
That has stretched their winning streak to six games and they are unbeaten in 10, a sequence in which they’ve netted 2+ goals nine times.
So the Wolves’ confidence is soaring for the trip to face a Werder side heading in the opposite direction.
The hosts have lost four on the spin – shipping six goals against Bayern Munich and seven against Cologne – so my money’s on Wolfsburg to score over 1.5 goals at evens with Paddy Power.
AZ v Utrecht
AZ will go top of the Eredivisie – for a day at least – if they continue their fine run of form with another victory.
Pascal Jensen’s side have dropped just two points in their last five matches and are snapping at leaders’ Feyenoord’s heels as big two PSV and Ajax flounder.
Seventh-place Utrecht will be no pushover but are weakened by injury problems, including the loss of striker Bas Dost, and AZ can keep the wins coming at 8-11 with SBK.
Sevilla v Elche
Sevilla are still hovering precariously just a point above the La Liga drop zone but the visit of rock-bottom Elche is a golden opportunity to rise up the table.
Jorge Sampaoli’s men have at least began to get their act together at home, winning their last two league outings against Getafe and Cadiz, and have more than enough about them to make it three in a row.
Elche are still winless in the league, mustering a measly six points from 18 games, so back Sevilla at 8-15 with Bet365.
