Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me return back to Scotland, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Stirling Albion will look to keep pace with leaders Dumbarton as they welcome out-of-form Stenhousemuir to the Forthbank Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Stirling returned to winning ways last time out, with a 1-2 win away at third-placed Elgin City, leaving them four points behind league leaders Dumbarton. At home, Darren Young’s side has lost just once this season and heads into this encounter victorious in four of their last five as hosts. The Binos are the leading scorers in the division, netting 36 goals across their opening 17 league encounters – scoring on multiple occasions in 11 of those.
Stenhousemuir’s winless run was extended to eight matches last time out as they lost 1-2 at home to fellow strugglers Forfar Athletic. That defeat was Stenny’s third loss in their previous four matches, leaving them just three points above bottom-side Albion Rovers. Manager-less Stenhousemuir have not recorded a clean sheet since the opening day of the season, and they possess the leakiest defence in the division, shipping 33 goals across their last 16 league matches.

Stirling have scored multiple goals in 11/17 of their league fixtures this season – including in 6/8 as hosts – and I fancy them to bag another brace at home to a Stenny defence yet to keep a clean sheet in any of their eight away matches this season, conceding two or more goals in six of those – including in each of their last four.
Collectively, Over 2.5 goals has landed in 27/34 (79%) of the pair’s League Two fixtures this season, and with Stirling winning both previous meetings 3-0 and 1-3 this season, I reckon we’ll see a minimum of three strikes here, with the hosts bagging at least two of them.
