Clyde v Queen’s Park
QUEEN’S PARK aim to consolidate their position at the top of League One with a win at Clyde and are a nice price at 17/20 to maintain their fine form.
The Spiders are unbeaten in the league and have only lost one game all season and that was at home to Motherwell in the League Cup.
They have lost only one goal in five league games and look watertight at the back. True, they don’t score many goals, but 1-0 is often enough for them.
With Player of the Month Simon Murray in fine form, they will be relishing a trip to Cumbernauld to face a Bully Wee side who blow hot and cold.
They are poor on the road as their defeat at Peterhead last week showed, but can be dangerous at home. But if Queen’s Park’s defence can stop David Goodwillie, they can win the match.
Morton v Raith Rovers
RAITH ROVERS surprisingly lost at home to Queen of the South last week, but they can make amends for that setback by winning at Morton.
John McGlynn’s side have only won once in the Championship this season, but they showed their potential by knocking Aberdeen out of the League Cup and have a trip to face Celtic later this week.
With places up for grabs, you’d expect the Kirkcaldy side’s players to prove a point that last week was a blip.
Morton have lost their last three games in the league and their only win in four came against Celtic B in the Challenge Cup and the 13/10 on an away win looks a fair price.
Dunfermline v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
CALEY THISTLE can add to the doom at Dunfermline by making it six league wins in a row in Fife.
Pars fans have had enough of manager Peter Grant and have made their feelings pretty clear. A planned walk-out will just add to the misery.
They have been leaking goals all over the place and are up against Billy Dodds’ ultra-consistent Inverness side who have been the shock troops in the league this season.
ICT have goals all over the team – even Kirk Broadfoot got in on the act last week – and look poised to add to Dunfermline’s problems with a win at 5/4 at East End Park.
