OB Esports x Neon won their tournament opener against Team SMG but struggled to show up on Wednesday when they lost to Galaxy Racer and managed only a draw against Motivate.Trust Gaming. Fnatic, meanwhile, played only one game at BTS Pro Series Season 7: Southeast Asia so far, against MG.Trust, which they won with relative ease.

T1 came out of nowhere in August 2019 and needed just two years to emerge as the best Dota 2 esports team in the region. Thanks to their domestic and international success, T1 ended this season as the sixth-highest rated team in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) standings.
In June, T1 made it to the semi-finals of WePlay AniMajor and won the ESL One Summer 2021. Despite all of their achievements on the season, T1 left a lot to be desired with their showings this week.
T1 lost against Motivate.Trust Gaming on Tuesday and managed only draws against Team SMG and Execration on Wednesday. Results like that suggest that T1 might not care about BTS Pro Series and instead have their eyes set on TI10.

Motivate.Trust Gaming have put together a 2-2-1 record after four days of play, which includes a loss against Fnatic, two draws against OB Esports x Neon and Team SMG, and two wins against T1 and Army Geniuses. Galaxy Racer have managed a slightly better 3-1-1 record, with wins against T1, Team SMG and OB Esports x Neon, a draw against Army Geniuses, and a defeat against Execration on Thursday.
MG.Trust and Galaxy Racer last met just over two weeks ago, when they parted ways with a 1-1 draw. Galaxy Racer came out ahead in their previous meeting at the start of July (2-0) but were not as successful in the remaining seven clashes of the season (0-1-6).
Past results should be considered; however, we have to value the teams’ current form higher.
