WEEK one in the Championship proved what most people suspected – Hearts will stroll to the title.
The Jambos, short-priced antepost favourites, justified that position with a thumping 6-2 win against a Dundee expected to be their closest challengers.
I tipped Hearts to win convincingly last Friday and also backed Dundee to finish second and I haven’t changed my opinion.
They defended poorly at times but that could be rustiness and they conceded some superb goals.
On a positive note for James McPake’s side was they looked decent going forward and Charlie Adam proved he’s not just here for a retirement cheque.
Dundee welcome Morton today and while it won’t be easy and I’m backing them to pick up their first points against a side that edged out Alloa last week.
The home win pays 3-4 at McBookie and after his sizzling strike at Tynecastle I’m on Adam to net again at 2-1 with McBookie.
Falkirk are on a mission after missing out on promotion last season and should make it two wins out of two against Forfar at home.
The last four meetings at the Falkirk Stadium have finished 6-0, 3-0, 2-0 and 4-0 and another win to nil pays 13-8 at McBookie.
One of the best displays last week came from Edinburgh City who won 5-1 at Brechin. They next face a Cowdenbeath side who they’ve beaten four out of five and conceded just one goal.
Take City with Dundee and Falkirk for a treble that pays just under 3-1 at McBookie.
