THERE have been some brilliant games in the Champions League this season and Spurs v Man City could be another.
Spurs’ new stadium will be rocking for the first European meeting between the sides but the quarter-final’s unlikely to be settled until the second leg.
City are 2-9 with bet365 to qualify with their rivals 7-2 at Paddy Power.
I can’t see past Pep Guardiola’s men but with Sergio Aguero a doubt they might be pushed all the way tonight.
Spurs are 16-5 with McBookie with City at 17-20 and the draw appeals at 3-1 with be365 even if only one of 17 meetings have ended all square.
If Aguero is given the nod I’ll edge towards City and he is 15-4 with bet365 to score first while he will have competition from team-mate Raheem Sterling at 11-2 with bet365.
For Spurs the dangerman will be England captain Harry Kane who is 5-1 at BetVictor and Ladbrokes.
Six of eight match-ups have gone over 2.5 goals and a repeat pays 4-5 at Marathonbet and that must have chance because City are unlikely to sit back.
Tonight’s other tie sees Liverpool welcome Porto to Anfield and Jurgen Klopp will want this one done and dusted at the first go.
Over 2.5 goals could be the shout again – possibly all to the home men – and pays 4-6 at bet365.
This is the tie the big guns wanted and Liverpool are 1-5 to qualify and 3-10 with bet365 to win tonight.
Last season they won 5-0 at Porto with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all on target. The Egyptian ended a goal drought with a cracker against Southampton on Friday and I’m backing him at 16-5 with McBookie to score first.
Liverpool miss banned Andy Robertson but Porto are weakened by the absence of Pepe and Hector Herrera.
I’m confident about Liverpool -1 at 5-6 with Ladbrokes while -2 could land at 23-10 with Paddy Power.
Recommended Bets
- Over 2.5 goals at Spurs & Liverpool
- Salah to score first
