LAST week was steady if not rampant, as Mr Nonchalant himself, Gary Woodland strolled into the place positions to return us a place at 20s with Paddy Power (8 places) meaning no love lost on the profit front (59.8 points).
I was slightly annoyed that he didn’t give it a better go and that we had no profit to play with for this week so sadly that meant in a moment of genius/desperation I waded into the UAE Football League on Monday morning hoping to turn the Woodland returns into a healthy pot.
A morning at work spent watching flash scores paid off as the mighty Al Wasl beat the bottom of the league in the UAE, BOOM TIME! (or so I thought). Later in the evening I attended my regular weekly golf lessons with my newly purchased BOOM BOOM driver in hand (a product of the Lipsky 175/1 winnnings – don’t like to talk about it).
I gave it the big one warning people to look out, only for it to completely shatter on impact leaving me having to laugh it off while inside crying. My supposed friend, more interested in chatting with the bloke in Booth 8 than me found it highly amusing. At times like this you realise who your friends are, sadly people often have their own agendas.
I sank a fair few sherbets over the weekend watching Rickie triumph on Sunday evening; I thought it was fantastic by the way.
Congrats Mr Tango! As a side note I’m a big fan of the singer/songwriter The Weeknd, can’t stop listening to him in the bath while tooting on my newly purchased e cig (Lipsky ££).
ISPC Handa Vic Open
This week I’m selecting four player, three of whom play down-under in the ISPS HANDA VIC OPEN; A quirky tournament which sees the cut at 60 players after two days then whittled down to 35 for the final day.
In my opinion it’s a week field which makes it wide open. Thunderstorms are forecast for day one and if the wind blows baton down the hatches.
Jazz Janewattananond
Jazz boasts recent form figures like England’s top order batsmen with finishes off 5-3-2-1 and the one night in Bangkok native is expected to go well this week, get on.
Nicolas Colsaerts
The big hitting Belgian (they all are) looks more than suited to the par 72 challenge.
There has been a definite resurgence in his game which is slowly working its way back to being bang there, a big price in a more than capable field for the big length Belgian.
David Drysdale
Mr and Mrs Drysdale are still searching for their first taste of victory but my word they’ve been close recently, it’s a long way to go to miss the cut here Double D so make it happen .
AT&T National
Not an event I look forward to, the AT&T NATIONAL is a pro-am held in California, so time difference is a major factor over the last few days if your in with a shout.
Heavy rain is forecast for Friday and a little more on Sunday. one bet and one bet only in pure terms of value and nothing more goes to TOMMY FLEETWOOD.
