15 football questions for your next pub quiz

24/04/2020 admin

With so many of us confined to our houses and unable to frequent the local, it’s only natural that the British public have taken to conducting virtual pub quizzes with their friends and family.

A search of Twitter is all it takes to find countless online pub quizzes hosted on Zoom or House Party, some of them attracting celebrity quizmasters and many of them garnering hundreds of entrants.

But by far the most popular are the pub quizzes with the more personal touch – those put together by a group of family and/or friends to pass the time on another big Saturday night in.

A popular premise is this: Each person (or team) prepares a variety of questions across popular pub quiz categories, negating the need for a quizmaster and allowing everyone to take part. So, for your next sport round obligation, we’ve come up with a list of 15 football questions for your next virtual pub quiz!

Just in case you want to play along, we’ll put the answers at the bottom of this page.
